James is a native of Watkinsville, Georgia and a graduate of Covenant College (’07) and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (’16). Before going into ministry James worked as a financial analyst in the corporate world, but soon decided that cubicles and office politics were not for him. James served as a missionary to Belgium for two years with Mission to the World where he worked with local Belgian Christians as well as a congregation of Turkish immigrants.
