James is a native of Watkinsville, Georgia and a graduate of Covenant College (’07) and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (’16). Before going into ministry James worked as a financial analyst in the corporate world, but soon decided that cubicles and office politics were not for him. James served as a missionary to Belgium for two years with Mission to the World where he worked with local Belgian Christians as well as a congregation of Turkish immigrants. Before accepting a call to Covenant of Grace James previously served as pastor of a PCA congregation in Abbeville, South Carolina for 8 years. He and his wife Elizabeth have three children.
He enjoys photography, playing guitar, and new foods from all over the world. His biggest passion is telling people about Jesus Christ.
